Bondi’s trendiest new warehouse eatery
Situated on Hall St, right in the heart of Eastern suburbs comes the latest and greatest coolio hang out Bondi Hardware. Located at what was once the local DIY store warehouse, Bondi’s newest on trend restaurant and bar has stayed true to its original legacy by decking out its dwellings in old school cool raw industrial materials. Rustic tools adorn the walls, weathered workbench style furnishings fill the floor and service with a smile seems to be complimented nicely with a cosy ambiance that makes you feel like you’re at home. Well, a home that has been interior decorated by a hipster tradie.
Since opening the doors in early December 2011, Bondi Hardware has been one of the busiest joints on the Eastern side of town and with the deliciousness prevalent across all menu’s; breakfast, lunch and most importantly a wine infused dinner it’s not hard to see why. Culinary stand outs include the baked Moroccan eggs with eggplant cous cous and minted yoghurt, the death by cheesy goodness pan-fried prosciutto wrapped bocconcini with tomato and lemon and last but not least the slow roasted spiced lamb shoulder salad. All meals are well priced and more importantly well portioned; it is nice to finally see a trendy eatery doing decent sizes that leave you in a happy place of sweet satisfaction. Don’t forget to cap your delectable taste bud experience off with one of the cleverly named cocktails. Highly recommend is the loco coco, served in a whole coconut and worth every dollar of its novelty value.
