Want something more than a heater to give you the warm and fuzzies this Winter? Get your bee-hinds into action and mosey on down to the Winters Warmers Mini Festival Charity Event at ye ol’ Beach Rd Hotel (Bondi) this Saturday 30th July. Event proceeds go towards supporting Youth off the Streets & Open Family Australia. So, this means shopping and drinking will be all for a good cause, like you needed an excuse?!
This will be an all day affair that will continue well into the night and, most likely lead to a few sore heads on Sunday morning. WWMF Kicks off bright and early, by Bondi standards, at 10am with the ‘Favourite things’ Vintage and handmade markets where our very own Rain & Hale will be making an appearance.. Cider induced, of course. Be sure not to discount night time festivities even if your feet a sore from a the day time shenanigans. Fundraiser raffle, blingo, dance competition, live graffiti, photography auction and night food markets are all on the cards for after dark. Moonlight festivities will set sail at 6pm with a stella line up that includes: Belles Will Ring, The Walking Who, Iluka, Major Tom & the Atoms, The Dusty Duets & Manchoir plus Northern Soul/Mod/Ska/Motown Djs Frenzie, Rob Goodburn, Sara DJ & Graham M. Don’t forget to clean out your closet and bring down your pre-loved pieces for donation, this is a chance to rub shoulders with Bondi coolio’s listen to some sweet tunes AND give back the community.
