r&h set up with Maria Cecile at Kirribilli Fashion Markets today, which is one of our favourite markets in Sydney. The amount and variety of goodies there, old and new, is crazy! It was packed despite the weather and we had a ball, even though we froze our butts off.
Unfortunately we are packing it in for the rest of the season to snuggle up fireside and work on our summer range. Can’t wait to show you what we have instore! Until then keep your eyes out for our vintage releases and cash in on our summer sale stock HERE.

Mon-Fri 8.30am – 4.15pm
Sat 8.30am – 1.15pm
I went a little bit too “furniture happy” here but there were definitely no regrets.
This Salvos is one of the biggest in the west & lucky for me I only live 10 minutes away!
Full of awesome hippie/retro dresses, crochet blankets, curtains, cardigans, blouses, leather jackets & bags, glassware & furniture.
On my day of bargains I managed to grab myself the following to fit into my already super cosy home:
-The most beautiful mirror you ever did see for only $7…..bargain!!
-A simple, but cute, wooden bed side table with a single drawer mind you for $6
- & my fave, a fabulous orange old school staffroom chair……$5
I say staffroom chair because these were the chairs my primary teachers had in their staffroom.
I fell in love with it straight away & if I had a bigger place I would’ve bought the whole lot.
Op Shop Roadie Tips:
**If you buy op shop furniture make sure it can fit somewhere in your house (I’m still trying to master this tip)
**Always check that it is solid & still in good condish….if it’s a chair sit on it, make sure it’s not wobbly etc.
***But again if you love it just get it!!
P.S. I tried to sneak these items into my house but my bf caught me out.
He’s new rule for me…no more furniture for a while….my focus now is on wall hangings hehe.
Happy op shopping people .

Full of knick knacks & goodies, you’ll be sure to grab a one off bargain here.
On my latest visit I managed to grab myself 2 mustard lampshades in mint condition for only $5 each.
I’m thinking of re-vamping it up with florals of some sort, but oh-how -I-love-mustard!!
Now to find some uber cool lampstands….Xx
Bric-a-brac/Bags/Shoes/Accessories from 50c
Tops/Skirts/Shorts from $3
Dresses from $4
Pants/Jackets/Jumpers from $5
Op Shop Roadie Tips:
*Be sure to have plenty of cash with you, you’ll never know what you’ll find

*Buy it cause you love it!!

Last Wednesday was the St George TAFE School of Fashion parade, held at Byron Kennedy Hall. Unfortunately we weren’t able to make it this year but our gorgeous guest blogger and good friend Cecile went along and took some amazing pics for us to admire. Great work graduates! We wish you all the best of luck next year and remember to always follow your dream!
Graduate of 2006 Johnny Schembri featured his Summer 2011/2012 collection.
If you want a career change or you’ve always had a passion for fashion, the school offers 4 fashion design courses commencing early next year. For more info on the school please visit: stgeorgedesigncollege.org.au
